Leaping With Our Choices On March 26, 1989, I was 12 years old and on this day premiered a television show called Quantum Leap.  This was a series created by Donald P. Bellisario.  It presided around a man known as Dr. Sam Beckitt and his trusty, patriotic friend, Al.  They were aided by a computer system, named Ziggy, that was able to determine the probability of what “most likely” needed to be done on a leap.
